Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard in Venice 2023: when a marriage works

The latest film in competition at the 2023 Venice Film Festival also brought (surprisingly) one of the most beautiful couples in Hollywood to the red carpet: the actor Peter Sarsgaardco-star of memory by Michel Franco, arrived at the Lido accompanied by his wife Maggie Gyllenhaal, at the Lido for one of the Miu Miu Women’s Tales talks. Maggie had left the red carpet to her husband, limiting herself with her phone in hand to taking photos of him and the rest of the cast, as if she were just any fan, but then it was the public who wanted her in front of their flashes.
