Magic: the Gathering Arena card game released on Android and iOS with crossplay support

The computer game Magic: The Gathering Arena, based on the world’s most popular collectible card game, was released in late 2019, and in 2020, thanks to the pandemic and quarantines, gained unheard of popularity among fans who could no longer gather in clubs or houses for joint battles. But the developers from the studio Wizards of the Coast decided not to stop there, releasing the mobile version of Magic: The Gathering Arena for smartphones and tablets running Android and iOS. Now you can fight in the virtual world, surprising the enemy with a cunning strategy, from anywhere in the world.

It is worth noting that the game has been in early access mode on Android for some time, but not everyone could try it, and there was not even a beta test on iOS. But now the mobile CCI is available to everyone in the digital stores App Store and Google Play in all regions (including the CIS) and is completely free. Naturally, in the game itself, the gamer is offered various goods for real money – you can buy packs of cards and so on, but the game itself is supplied free of charge. And, best of all, the mobile version differs from the desktop (computer) only in touch control, while everything else is identical.

This is a really important point, since sometimes gamers are not very comfortable to retrain and get used to the new interface. Moreover, thanks to the same set of functions and capabilities, as well as the identical card library and controls, the developers have implemented crossplay between all the platforms available in Magic: The Gathering Arena. That is, a gamer will be able to fight from a smartphone with his friend who plays from a PC or tablet on a different operating system. Due to this, the authors of the project will easily conquer the audience and reduce the time for selecting an opponent.
