A 6.1 magnitude earthquake hit North Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, on Thursday (27), according to the country’s National Earthquake Research and Monitoring Center.
The earthquake hit Bhairab Kunda in the Sindhupalchok district.
The German Geoscience Research Center placed the magnitude of the earthquake by 5.6 and the depth at 10 km.
There were no immediate reports of damage or victims of the earthquake.
“He took us out of sleep strongly,” Ganesh Nepali told a high employee from the Sindhupalchok district to Reuters. “We ran out of the house. People have already returned to their homes. We have not received any reports of damage or injured so far. ”
