The main person investigated for the rape and death threats made against state deputies Lohanna Souza França Moreira de Oliveira (PV), Bella Gonçalves (PSOL) and Beatriz Cerqueira (PL), from Minas Gerais, was arrested this Tuesday morning (7 ) during a police operation.
Agents from the Civil Police, Military Police and members of the Public Ministry of Minas Gerais participated in the task force. The man was arrested in Olinda (PE), with the support of Gaeco de Pernambuco, in the third phase of the “Di@na” operation.
The investigation began in August 2023 and found that the threats were planned and executed in the context of internet forums and groups called “chans”, where, according to authorities, their members incited violence, pedophilia and necrophilia, with posts of images of rape, murder and mutilation and with high content of child sexual abuse and exploitation (child pornography).
In the previous phases of the operation, the task force seized several IT devices from the homes of other individuals being investigated.
Based on advanced cyber investigations and field work, it was possible to identify some of the “chan” users linked to the conduct investigated and the main leader of the criminal group, user of the nicknames “Leon” and “Grow”.
According to the investigation, this person became the main suspect in the crimes committed against Minas Gerais parliamentarians and for coercing teenagers to self-mutilate and send nude photos.
The suspect arrested this Tuesday by court order and will be sent to the Minas Gerais prison system, where he will respond to the case.
