Maisa Silva 22, was officially confirmed in the cast of “Girl of the Moment” the next soap opera on TV Globo, at six o’clock, scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year.
In the plot, written by Alessandra Poggi, the actress and presenter will live the antagonist – no name yet announced.
The production, set in the 1950s, will follow a young woman’s search for her mother and the challenges of realizing her own dreams in this scenario. In development, her path crosses with that of Maisa’s character. Jeferson De is responsible for the general direction and Natalia Grimberg assumes artistic direction.
On her Instagram profile, the actress shared the news with her followers. “Finally I can tell you that: YES, I’m going to do the next six o’clock soap opera,” she wrote.
In a statement sent to the press, Maisa confessed that she was in disbelief. “I started my career as an actress in soap operas and, after a while away from TV, coming back with a soap opera on TV Globo and a character unlike anything I’ve ever done, is very special and came at the right time,” she said.
