Major Ethereum Holders Moved $357M in Just Minutes

On March 12, three whales moved a total of 244,148 ETH (~$357 million at the time of transactions) with an interval of several minutes.

According to Whale Alert, the first user sent 120,874 ETH worth over $177 million to an unknown address.

The second whale moved 96,638 ETH (over $141 million) also to an unidentified address.

A third unknown investor sent 26,636 ETH (~$39 million) to the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange.

Also, Whale Alert recorded several large transactions with altcoins:

  • 65,000,000 CRV (~$55M) translated to an unknown address;
  • 20,000,000 CRV (~$17M) moved to the Aave lending protocol;
  • 20,205,417 FRAX (~$19m) sent to the Frax protocol;
  • 10,103,426 FRAX (~$9m) also sent in Frax;
  • 537,352 SOLs (~$10M) translated to the Coinbase exchange.

As of the end of October 2022, the share of whales in the total supply of Ethereum reached 39%, and bitcoin – 11%.
