Oliver Peoples
Can you tell us?
«I saw in this element a way to combine both styles and the aesthetics that I wanted the glasses to embody. What inspired you in the creation of the eyewear and the campaign directed by you together with the photographer Hugo Comte?
«I started with the idea of creating something linear to combine it with something else more compelling, more daring. This polarity has always fascinated me. I have drawn a lot of my inspiration from the artists and creatives I love. In fact, you can see references to Longo and Avedon, combined with the rock and roll era of the 90s in Los Angeles. In particular, the iconic style of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee ».
Oliver Peoples’ campaign with Fai Khadra
This collaboration marks his debut in the world of eyewear design. How was his experience?
“We had a lot of fun together. It was an honor for me to take my first step into the world of eyewear design with Oliver Peoples and his entire team. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in their products is unmatched. From the beginning, our goal was to push the boundaries of what we could technically do from a design perspective. It was about maintaining that vintage aesthetic while looking for a way that would show us beyond ».
