The presenter of the edition 2002 of the Eurovision Song Contest did not betray expectations. As the undisputed hostess, queen of the stage, for the first semifinal she wore three fuchsia dresses by Maison Valentino combined with a make-up of the same color, all focused on protagonist eyes according to the contemporary codes of the monochromatism.
Her look created by make-up artist Rajan Tolomei, Max Factor ambassador, was one of those emotional make-ups, contaminated by the new wave of non-conformist and non-stereotypical emotional looks made popular by the TV series Euphoria.
The trend of combining the colors of make-up with the dress, exasperating the concept of total look, is one of the declinations of personalized make-up proposed by the now iconic Netflix series which has given many extraordinary visual experiences and which continues to be an inexhaustible source of beauty ideas born from the creativity of the make-up artist Donny Davy.
The total look effect of the first semifinal live from Turin had to be televised and impactful, a goal achieved with the application of hot pink eyeshadow all over the eyelid, so as to create eyes bold that could cope with a strong hair look, a convex bob with parting in the middle in the Raffaella Carrà style, a tribute to the great Italian star who died last July.
In order not to steal attention from the look Rajan has deliberately left the natural lips, only retouched with a lipstick in the same tone of the skin. A golden rule of makeup that has not been violated.

To complete it all there was the manicure in nuance, in the same energizing fuchsia of the three dresses worn by the singer.
