A man was arrested last Thursday (16) on suspicion of raping his own sister, who is 3 months pregnant. The case occurred in the city of Trindade (GO), in the metropolitan region of Goiânia.
According to the Civil Police, the victim reported to the police station that, the night before, he was at a beverage distributor with his brother and cousin and consumed “an excessive amount of alcohol.”
“After being dropped off at home, the victim was approached by her brother, who claimed he was going to help her take a shower. However, instead of taking her to the bathroom, he locked the door and took her to his bedroom, where the victim lost consciousness due to alcohol. She reported having a vague memory of being naked in her bed, with her brother performing sexual acts against her will,” says the Civil Police.
According to the statement, the victim managed to scream and ask for help. “Upon hearing the screams, the mother started knocking on the door, demanding that the alleged perpetrator open it. He obeyed and left quickly, while the victim’s mother sent him away”, adds the police.
The man was located and arrested for rape of a vulnerable person. The victim underwent tests at the IML and was taken to receive medication at a health unit.
