A man was arrested last Tuesday (2), suspected of rape a 76 -year -old elderly in Guapimirim, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the Public Security Bureau, the case occurred last Sunday (31). The 35 -year -old suspect was captured by teams from the Municipal Guard and the Civil Police.
Since the day of the crime, the agents of the operation received complaints and analyzed images of security cameras, as well as other information that led to the identification of the suspect.
The team went to the indicated address and located the man, who confessed to the crime. During the approach, he also delivered a cell phone, which had been stolen from the victim’s residence.
