A 44-year-old man was arrested last Thursday (17) in Itacarambi (MG) after failing to comply with protective measures in favor of his mother, a 72-year-old woman.
According to the police, the elderly woman went to the city police station to request action in relation to the suspect. According to the victim, he was ignoring court orders and approaching her, even jumping over the wall of the house where the elderly woman lives and refusing to leave. The police gathered information that he had already been arrested on April 10 of this year for the same reasons.
As soon as the elderly woman requested assistance from the police, the team attended the woman’s house and found that the suspect was there, sleeping in the backyard. He was arrested red-handed.
The Civil Police informs that records of domestic violence cases can be made directly at the police unit, by telephone (180 or 181) and also through the Virtual Police Station.
