A man was preventively arrested last Saturday (9), accused of kidnapping his own three-year-old son. The case occurred in Diamantino, Mato Grosso.
The child disappeared in Campos dos Goytacazes, in the North of Fluminense, in January of this year. Raphael Alves Gomes picked up the child from school with the mother's permission. However, it was agreed to return the boy on January 1st of that year, which did not happen.
Raphael also no longer made contact with the child's mother, who reported him missing. The Civil Police began monitoring work and took several steps.
With the support of civil police officers from Mato Grosso and Rondônia, the agents began searching for five uninterrupted days, until they learned that the father was a truck driver and was transporting goods across the regions.
After several actions by police officers, in the states of Mato Grosso and Rondônia, the suspect's vehicle was intercepted and he was arrested in the municipality. The child was found inside the truck and returned to his mother.
The suspect will be charged with kidnapping and threats in the form of psychological violence against the woman.
