The 60-year-old was attacked by a swarm of bees John Fisher together with his dog, when they went for a walk in the neighborhood where they live in Arizona USA. They were stung by more than 250 times.
Security camera footage shows the 60-year-old, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, falling to the ground and crawling to avoid as many bites as possible. As Fisher said there may have been more than 1,000 bees. As can be seen in the footage from the interview he gave after the attack, received bites all over his body and face. “I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Part of me wanted to panic and part of me wanted to freak out. But I knew from my previous experiences that that’s where you lose it and you don’t have control and you end up in more danger.”
The video shows a policewoman who tried to help Fisher, however, the solution was finally provided by firefighters who sprayed water on the bees.
Fisher was taken to the hospital where he was administered morphine for pain while his dog was taken to an animal hospital which received more than 50 stings.
