Civil police arrested in the act last Friday (24) a man after finding out that he kept his grandmother’s corpse buried in his own backyard. The case happened in Mesquita, in Baixada Fluminense.
Police said the investigations began after the complaint of a family friend indicated the place used by the criminal to bury the victim.
In the investigation process, it was found that, in the cemetery indicated as the place where the funeral would have been made, there is no record in her name. The police moved to the suspect’s house and found a place in the backyard with fresh cement and an elevation on the ground.
Asked, the man eventually confessed to the crime and revealing the location of his grandmother’s body. The police found the body decaying in the place pointed inside the backyard. He is stuck.
There is no information about the circumstances of the woman’s death.
