Man dies after getting involved in fight with father and son at bakery in SP

A 46-year-old man died after being involved in an argument between father and son in a bakery in the south of São Paulo, on Thursday morning (21).

Initially, the Military Police (PM) were called to respond to an incident of firearm shooting at the Pão do Horto bakery, in the Parque Munhoz neighborhood. At the scene, police officers found a 30-year-old man injured next to his 61-year-old father.

The victim was taken to the Campo Limpo Emergency Room, where he remained hospitalized.

At first, the elderly man told the police that he was talking to his son about a lawyer when the shooter approached and got involved in the matter. The suspect then allegedly threatened father and son before shooting the victim.

According to the elderly man, the man was injured when he broke a glass door in the area during his escape. Even so, he got into his vehicle and fled.

The man was then involved in a traffic accident. A nurse who was passing by and stopped to help him ended up being run over.

The driver who ran over the nurse told the police she believed it was a robbery and, in an attempt to leave the scene, ended up slightly injuring the nurse.

The man who shot the victim in the bakery was rescued, but he succumbed to his injuries.

However, after analyzing the images from the establishment’s security cameras, the PM found that the boy who was shot was the one who initiated the attacks, contrary to what had been previously reported.

Furthermore, the police discovered that the shooter was stabbed by the elderly man. The 61-year-old man was taken to the police station, where he did not give any further details about the incident. He was caught in the act and remains at the disposal of Justice.
