A man died shot on the beach of Mermaid, on the north coast of Alagoas, on Sunday (6). An exchange of fire interrupted the leisure moment of the bathers. The victim’s identity was not disclosed.
According to the Civil Police, the crime was committed by at least four suspects. One of them fired at the victim, who was sitting on one of the chairs in the sand strip. At least 10 shots were fired by the group.
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) was triggered, but, upon arriving, the man was already dead.
The victim was accompanied by his girlfriend and a friend. The Military Police searched the suspects, but so far no one has been found. The area was pericted by the Institute of Criminalistics (IC), and the Homicide Police Station is investigating the case.
