The motorcyclist, Maycon Nascimento, 28, died after falling from a bridge on Governador Island, north of Rio de Janeiro, on Wednesday night (21). The victim was on his motorcycle when he was hit by a car running away from the police.
According to the Military Police, agents of the 17th BPM spotted armed criminals in a vehicle outside Governador Island on Galeão Road, near Ponte Nova.
When trying to make the siege, there was confrontation. In an attempt to escape, the occupants of the car hit biker Maycon, who on impact fell from the viaduct, falling on a car.
According to the Fire Department, after the impact, the driver died on the spot, and was sent to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) in downtown Rio.
