Man dopes children with Rivotril and tries to stab his ex-partner to death

A 33-year-old man, who was already being monitored by an electronic ankle monitor, was arrested last Monday (13) after doping his two children and trying to kill his ex-wife, 29. The case occurred last Monday ( 13) in Ceilândia (DF).

According to the police, the man, who had been released at a custody hearing in December 2024 and had since worn an electronic ankle bracelet, violated the device and broke into his ex-partner’s house.

According to police, the suspect confessed to using the substance and forensics found traces of the medicine at the scene of the crime.

Upon returning to the residence, the woman realized that the children were unconscious and was stabbed by her ex-partner. She managed to escape and call for help at the neighboring house, leaving trails of blood across both properties.

The children were taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) in Ceilândia, while the mother was taken to the Ceilândia Regional Hospital. The woman is conscious and stable. The children underwent stomach pumping and are also stable.

The suspect was found barefoot and with blood-stained clothes and, according to police, confessed to the crime at the time of the approach.

According to the police, the prisoner stated that he committed the crime after discovering an alleged betrayal.
