The Federal Police arrested, this Wednesday (24), in the city of Itajaí, on the coast of Santa Catarina, a man identified as the nephew of Marcos Willians Herbas Camacho, Marcola, indicated as leader of the maximum of the São Paulo faction, Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC).
The operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and the seizure of jewelry and vehicles is the result of cooperation between several police forces, called the Integrated Force to Combat Organized Crime (Ficco), of which the Santa Catarina Civil Police is also part. .
According to the police, the detained suspect, like his uncle, also holds a leadership position in the PCC, acting as one of the managers of businesses linked to Jogo do Bicho and drug and weapons trafficking in Ceará. He was arrested in the house where he lived and taken to the Canhanduba Prison Complex, in Itajaí, and must be transferred to a maximum security prison.
'Operation Primma Migratio'
'Operation Primma Migratio', which arrested the man appointed as one of the new leaders of the PCC, is part of an investigation that began in Ceará, and involved authorities from São Paulo, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul, as well as Interpol. Jewelry and vehicles were also seized.
The Task Force identified over more than two years that the PCC's management and logistics core had migrated part of the management structure from São Paulo to Ceará.
According to the police, among the criminal activities implemented by the organization in the northeastern state are drug and weapons trafficking, exploitation of games of chance such as “jogo do bicho” and laundering of money acquired through a sports lottery managed by the faction.
According to the Civil Police of Ceará, more than three hundred million reais have been transferred by the criminal organization in recent years. Part of this money was bribes for corruption of public servants.
In total, 22 preventive arrest warrants, 36 search and seizure warrants and the confiscation of 42 vehicles belonging to those under investigation were issued. Among the actions, the arrest of two military police officers who belong to the organization's logistics core was ordered.
The cities where the warrant was served were Arujá, São Paulo and Bragança Paulista in the state of São Paulo, Fortaleza, Sobral, Acarau, Jucas, Beberibe, Iguatu, Acopiara Brejo Santo and Juazeiro do Norte in Ceará, Campo Grande, capital of Mato Grosso do Sul and Itajaí, in Santa Catarina.
