A man accused of attacking a dog was arrested this Saturday (28) by police officers from Segurança Presente, in Méier, north of the city of Rio de Janeiro. He was recorded kicking and punching the chow-chow dog.
The police team located the suspect on Rua Dias da Cruz, in Méier, and took him to the 25th DP, where he remains detained.
The dog, who was named Nina, was taken for veterinary examinations and adopted by one of the agents who participated in the action.
