An 18-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (9), accused of forging his own kidnapping for revenge in the city of Senhor do Bonfim, located in the center-north of the state of Bahia. According to the Civil Police, the goal was to incriminate his companion’s father -in -law and family members.
The perpetrator went to the 1st Territorial Police Station of Senhor do Bonfim to register a police report and said he had been released from a captivity, where he would be about five days ago.
According to him, armed men kidnapped him, at the behest of his father -in -law, on Saturday (5), in the center of Senhor do Bonfim. The man also stated that he was tied at the scene under the aim of firearms and that only on Wednesday his mate would have released him.
The police, when they arrived at the place appointed as captivity, identified that it was a lie. In the abandoned house, located in the countryside, near the village of Quicé, there were no signs of recent housing. In addition, the alleged victim appeared to be well nourished, hydrated and emotionally oriented, unlike people who are kidnapped.
Given these evidence, the man confessed that he invented the crime for revenge. He reported that his father -in -law became aware of a pornographic video through social networks, in which his daughter and the accused appeared in the scenes. For this reason, the woman’s father threatened him with death and the suspect invented the kidnapping to incriminate him.
The accused’s family even registered a police report and made social media disclosures about his disappearance. The man, who will be responsible for the crime of slanderous denunciation, has been subjected to the examinations and is available to the judiciary.
