A 47-year-old man was arrested at dawn on Thursday (1) after setting fire to his own car. The case happened in the Earth Novo neighborhood of Goiás, and no one was injured.
According to the Goiás Civil Police, the flames spread quickly and soon hit the house, where the wife, daughter and sister -in -law were. The fire was controlled by the action of the Fire Department.
The perpetrator fled the residence after committing the crime, but upon returning home at the end of the day, was arrested in the act. The man will be responsible for the crime of fire in inhabited home and can be sentenced to a penalty of eight years in prison.
The security forces came together to clarify the facts, listening to victims, witnesses and performing the expertise of the place.
