Civil Police from the Department of Homicide and Personnel Protection (DHPP) arrested, on Thursday (22), a Man suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of a 45 -year -old woman in early March since year in the south of São Paulo .
The crime happened in early March this year, in the parking lot of a Cobasi network store, located on Giovanni Gronchi Avenue, in the Morumbi neighborhood.
According to the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the prisoner was identified as the recipient of bank transfers that the victim was forced to perform during the abduction.
The DHPP investigation pointed to man’s participation in the financial movement resulting from the crime, which led to the issuance of a temporary arrest warrant against him.
The suspect was located and detained by the agents and now remains available to the courts.
Remember the case
The woman was kidnapped on March 10, in the parking lot of a Cobasi network store, located on Giovanni Gronchi Avenue, in the Morumbi neighborhood. Viviane reported the moments of panic she lived.
The victim was held hostage for three hours and forced to make transfers via Pix and by bank cards under threat of death. According to her, around 11am, she stopped her car in the store parking lot, which was under renovation.
As she got out of the vehicle, she noticed a dark vehicle parked next to hers. Upon returning to the car after saving the shopping, the woman was surprised by two men who opened the door of their vehicle and threw it on the back seat. See below:

During the three hours she was trapped with the criminals, the victim said she was threatened with death and forced to provide bank passwords and make transfers. “He said to me, ‘If you miss a password, if you lie anything, I’ll put you bullet in your face.’
The men kept her cell phone in plane mode, but left him connected to the car’s Wi-Fi, which allowed her husband to track her with the police’s help. Witnesses noted the license plate of the vehicle used in the crime, a Honda Fit, and called the PM.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security, Military Police teams located the vehicle of the suspects in Jardim Ângela, in the far south of the capital. According to the agents, when leaving the vehicle, one of the 28 -year -old suspects made a weapon with a gun and the PM intervened. He was rescued to M’Boi Mirim Hospital, but did not resist and died. Diego Silveira Ferreira, another of the investigated was arrested days later.
At the time, Cobasi regretted what happened in its Morumbi unit through a note.
