A 45-year-old man was beaten to death by security guards last Tuesday (6) after an alleged theft of coffee beans on a farm in Ibiraci, in the interior of Minas Gerais. The individual was rescued and taken to the hospital, but could not resist.
According to the Military Police, three men were seen by committing the theft, but two of them managed to escape in a vehicle. A third suspect was found injured, lying in a ditch.
The security guards who assaulted the man were arrested and taken to the Civil Police duty, where they were heard and released. They are investigated for murder. According to information from the delegate of the case, it was the perpetrators themselves of the aggression who called the police.
The other two suspected of having participated in coffee theft are at large.
