THE Public Prosecution Service of Paraná denounced a 19 -year -old man for qualified homicide for the death of his own sister -in -law, 17, in the interior of Paraná. The crime occurred in January this year and the victim’s body was found 23 days later on the banks of a stream.
THE MP states that the accused accompanied the victim to an isolated rural area, where both consumed cocaine provided by it. The young woman would have been unconscious after drug use, when the accused threw her into the stream and fled without help.
According to the complaint, the accused initially provided false information to mislead the police, as well as simulating concern for the disappearance of the young woman with the family. After being confronted with contradictions in his statements, he confessed to hiding his body.
The man will answer for qualified homicidebecause it makes it difficult to defend the victim and to hide another crime. He was also denounced for drug trafficking, corpse and procedural fraud. The accused is arrested preventively.
