Two people were indicted by the Pernambuco Civil Police on suspicion of practicing sexual extortion against a 50 -year -old woman and her 29 -year -old son.
According to the investigations, the crime involved anonymous threats via WhatsApp and was articulated by the victim’s stepson in partnership with a woman specializing in electronic fraud.
According to police, the suspects alleged in messages that his wife and husband participated in “swing” meetings and threatened to publicize embarrassing photos and rumors if they did not receive $ 30,000. Concerned, the son sought the police, who began investigations.
The information was revealed by police on Wednesday (29). The case began in November 2024, when the son of the woman, businessman and resident of Recife, received a threat of an unknown number, requiring an amount of money to avoid the disclosure of photos and personal information of his mother.
Shaken, the businessman sought his mother to question her. It was then that she realized that the same number had also made contact with her. To the police, the victim confirmed the practice of swing meetings with her husband and also revealed to be blackmailed.
In the investigations, police identified the author of the threats as a 32 -year -old woman, born in São Sebastião do Passé, Bahia. She would have used pictures of the victim taken from a swing dating site to make the threats. In addition, police found that the victim’s stepson, a 26 -year -old man, had provided the information for the suspicion.
According to police information, the two met in a group of sports bets on WhatsApp. The stepson, who has criminal records, has already been arrested in 2020 for crimes such as estelionate and ideological falsehood, and currently responds to cases by criminal organization.
The investigated, in turn, has a history of virtual crimes, including fraud on social networks and blows on online shopping platforms.
