According to official information, the approximately 45-year-old man was found unconscious on the street, in the Prosilurbi neighborhood, in Uruguaiana (RS), with a piece of wood in his anus. The Military Brigade activated the Civil Police and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) who sent him to the Santa Casa de Misericórdia.
Initially, the man claimed to have been the victim of sexual assault by two individuals. However, after investigation by the Civil Police, it was discovered that he invented the story.
The investigation
After days of investigation, the Civil Police found that the man had carried out weeding work on Saturday and spent the payment on alcoholic drinks.
Rejected by a family member with whom he lives, and who does not accept this type of behavior, he inserted the piece of wood into himself to simulate aggression and justify returning home, more than 24 hours later, in a state of drunkenness . After interrogation, the man confessed to self-injury.
The investigations were concluded this Tuesday (18), and according to the police, he will be charged with falsely reporting a crime.
