Iran executed a man who was accused of conducting espionage on behalf of Israel, according to information reported by the Mizan Online news agency today associated with the Iranian judiciary. The same source reported that this man was called Pedram Manani. Iran, which is involved in a shadow war with Israel that counts decades, has executed many people accusing them of links with the Israeli Mosad intelligence and facilitating businesses in the country. These include homicides to sabotage actions that aim to undermine the Iranian nuclear program. Mantani, who was arrested in 2020, allegedly attempted to convey classified information to Israel on important locations in Iran, said Mizan, adding that he was still accused of enrichment in an illegal way. Another Iranian, Mohansen Langarnesin, was executed last month charged with espionage and cooperation with Mosad. Source: RES
