Man who died pressed at a subway station was 35 years old

A 35-year-old man died after being arrested between the door of platform nº37 and the car access door at Campo Limpo subway station, on line 5-lilac subway, located in the south of São Paulo.

According to one of the company’s agents via mobility, the victim was injured in the skull and no longer had vital signs when the team’s agents accessed the road to provide relief.

The company said that, at this time, its efforts are focused on identifying the passenger, who did not carry documents, and the location of their families to offer the necessary support.

Viamobility also stated that it is fully collaborating with the competent authorities to investigate the incident and that it is internally investigating the circumstances of the accident.

In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) stated that the incident is being presented at the Metropolitan Police Station (Delpom), and will give more information as soon as there is.
