The Civil Police arrested on Wednesday (21) a man who killed a street vendor during the last carnival in Cabo Frio, in the Lagos region. He was found in Belo Horizonte (MG) will be responsible for qualified homicide.
The crime occurred on the night of March 4, Carnival Tuesday, at Rua da Praia do Forte, during the passage of an electric trio with thousands of revelers.
According to investigations, three Minas Gerais tourists began a discussion with a local street vendor after a disagreement because of the collection of a glass of ice. Men would have claimed to be “crime” of Minas. The suspects walked away, but returned minutes later and, in the crowd, one of them fired a shot at the street vendor, who died at the scene.

The man captured on Wednesday has criminal notes for drug trafficking, illegal possession of firearms, murder and theft. The other target of the operation, which is still on the run, is responsible for drug trafficking and murder.
