Man who plotted attack on Moro is PCC leader and led luxury life, says PF

The man that the Federal Police points out as responsible for monitoring and plotting the kidnapping of Senator Sergio Moro (União Brasil-PR) is a leader of the PCC who led a life of luxury.

The information is in a report by the Special Group for Sensitive Investigations (Gise) sent to the Federal Court and used as a basis for arresting members of the criminal faction.

Described as “responsible for the organization, financing, planning and execution of the kidnapping/attack”, the man had high purchasing power. He appears, for example, commanding a speedboat in an image attached to the investigation, and has at least six properties linked to his name.

“Your leadership in this core of ORCRIM [organização criminosa] it is also perceived by the enjoyment of goods with high purchasing power, which only occurs with the members of the top of the PCC pyramid, since, as a rule, everyone else commits crimes to support the leaders, without increasing the asset volume (cheap labor ). It is worth noting that this asset is in the name of third parties, including some with criminal passages”, pointed out the PF in a manifestation to the Federal Justice.

Proving the elements raised by the PF, the investigators reached a witness who stated that the organizer of the plot against Moro was leader of the so-called “restricted”, sector of the faction that takes care of the execution of people handpicked by the group’s leadership.

According to the Federal Police, the properties maintained by the PCC in the name of “oranges” are a fundamental part of how to dispose of money from drug trafficking and to store weapons.

“The property identified on behalf of third parties is a vital part of police actions for the complete dismantling of the crimes under investigation, notably because with the arrest of the leaders, this property is again absorbed by ORCRIM to continue the commission of the same crimes”.
