A man suspected of manufacturing and selling anabolic steroids was arrested by the police last Thursday afternoon (28) in an apartment in the Campo Grande neighborhood, in the south zone of São Paulo. According to the police, sales of clandestine products were made through social networks.
The search and seizure orders, authorized by the courts, were carried out by agents from the 2nd Investigations Station on Embezzlement and Crimes Against Public Faith (DIG) and the State Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic). Agents were at three addresses linked to the suspect.
According to the police, 1,000 empty bottles, labels and lids, as well as inputs ready for the manufacture of therapeutic products were seized. The material was seized and will undergo forensic examination.
The suspect, identified as the operator of the scheme, was arrested and will be charged with a crime against public health.
