Manchester City is building a digital ecosystem for its football fans

Manchester City Football Club has entered into an agreement with the OKX crypto exchange to launch the OKX Collective, an ecosystem dedicated to interacting with fans.

The OKX Collective virtual environment will allow the fan community to connect with Manchester City Football Club players, as well as purchase personalized NFTs and access exclusive content such as a music playlist associated with a team player. According to the creators of the project, exclusive offers in OKX Collective will take into account the personal interests and style of play of each player.

The first content providers for OKX Collective were Manchester City players Ilkay Gundogan, Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias and Alex Greenwood of the club’s women’s team.

In 2022, the OKX trading platform entered into a long-term contract with the English football club Manchester City and became the club’s official crypto asset exchange partner.

In August 2022, decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) Hector Network announced a sponsorship agreement with the German Bundesliga football club Borrusia Dortmund. In March of the same year, the board of the English Premier League (EPL) approved ConsenSys as the NFT licensee for all official matches of the teams in the tournament.
