1. The return to San Remo

2. Måneskin at the Coachella Festival

In April, the group ignited Coachella, the festival held every year in Indio, in the Colorado desert. Måneskin performed for two weekends in a row, conquering the fans, who are now many, all over the world. They sang Shut up and good, In the name of the father and Oh mama. And then the covers of Beggin’, Womanizer by Britney Spears and I Wanna Be Your Dog of the Stooges. At the end of both concerts, Damiano David shouted «Free Ukraine, fuck war… fuck Putin», a clear message to the war in Ukraine, which had then started two months ago.

3. The photo with Shakira

In Cannes, during the party organized by Warner Bros for the presentation of Elvis (Måneskin worked on the soundtrack) Shakira asks for a photo of Damian and Thomas. “Delighted to meet you at the after-party of Elvis: let’s make music together», wrote the pop star on her social profile. 7. Triumph at the MTV VMAs

In August, the group won the award for best alternative video at the MTV Video Music Awards 2022. The winning video is that of I Wanna Be Your Slave. “It’s really great. We didn’t expect to win. There are great artists here, so it’s an honor for us», said the members of the Roman band at the height of their joy. 8. The success of The Lonelist

On October 7, it came out The Lonelistthird single – after Supermodels and Oh mama– of the new album rush, arriving on January 20th. An immediate success, which led the song to get 720,000 views in the first 14 hours after publication. The first image of the video shows Damiano David underwater, a scene that the frontman described as particularly difficult to shoot. «To make me go downstairs they put weights on me, but for the first two or three takes they exaggerated with these weights and I thought I was going to die for real», revealed the artist.

9. MTV EMA, disappointment but not too much
