Hundreds of police have been mobilized in Normandy, France to find Mohamed Amra, who escaped from a police van taking him to prison on Tuesday. Known as “The Fly”, Amra was being transported back from a court hearing in Rouen when a car rammed the cage at a toll station. Gunmen then opened fire on the vehicle, killing two prison officers. “All means are being used to find these criminals,” said French Interior Minister Géral Darmanen. About 200 uniformed officers were mobilized on Tuesday and vehicle checks are being carried out at key points, according to what the BBC reports. President Emmanuel Macron said that “everything is being done to find the perpetrators”.
