This August 11, through social networks, the National Association of Actors in Mexico (ANDA) reported the death of Manuel Ojeda, renowned actor of soap operas and Mexican cinema, at 81 years of age.
With a brief message on his Twitter account, ANDA sent his condolences to the actor’s family and friends:
The National Association of Actors deeply regrets the death of our partner Manuel Salvador Ojeda “Manuel Ojeda”, a member of our union. Our condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. Rest in peace.
Manuel Ojeda was born on November 4, 1940, in La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. He studied acting at the Institute of Fine Arts. He debuted on television with the telenovela holy (1978), later, he participated in melodramas such as The Right to Be Born, The Spring, Wild Heart, SOS Mission Y the most beautiful ugly, to name a few.
His film career began in the 1970s. His first film was Canoe: memory of a shameful eventdirected by Felipe Cazals and based on the events that occurred in 1968, in the state of Puebla.
At the moment, the actor’s cause of death is unknown. However, the artistic community already sends its condolences to relatives, friends and followers of the Mexican interpreter:
