The Euro zone preliminary manufacturing PMI for the month of April improved to 63.3 points from 62.5 in March, surpassing the 62.0 expected by the market. This is the best result recorded since the indicator was created in 1997.
The services PMI also improved, reaching an eight-month high at 50.3 after hitting 49.6 in February. The result exceeds the 49.1 predicted by the experts.
Finally, the integrated PMI rose to 53.7 from 53.2, improving the estimated 52.8 points and reaching a nine-month high.
