Manufacturing sales in Canada increased 0.9% in December to $ 54.2 billion, data released by Statistics Canada on Monday revealed. This reading arrives after the November drop of 0.4% and has been better than the market expectation of a 0.6% increase.
“On a quarterly basis, sales increased 1.1% in the fourth quarter, while manufacturing sales in terms of volume were down 0.2%,” the publication read.
