At least 174 people were killed in South Korea’s deadliest air crash on Sunday when a plane skidded off the runway, exploded and burst into flames as it crashed into a wall at Muan International Airport. Jeju Air flight 7C2216, arriving from the Thai capital Bangkok with 175 passengers and six crew members, was attempting to land short of the airport in the southern part of the country, South Korea’s transport ministry said.
