In the film, directed by Calvani, the actor plays immigrant Lourenço, whose visa is coming to an end and who is heartbroken when his American boyfriend unexpectedly leaves him.
Surrounded by the beauty and magic of the coastal community, the character becomes anguished every day, as his once hopeful future turns into a state of emotional and physical limbo, according to the synopsis.
In the plot, he meets Maurice (James Bland) a kind nurse who is on vacation with friends and who also feels out of place. They form an unexpected connection. Together, they begin to find acceptance with each other as they struggle to reconcile their uncertain futures.

Pigossi’s performance has received praise in international press . Variety, for example, reported that the actor “delivers an impressive performance”.
Marriage
Pigossi and Calvani made their union official in September this year, in a wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Italy. The couple, who publicly announced their relationship in 2021, had been in a stable relationship since 2023.
