After participating in the two versions of “Pantanal” and “Reborn” both with original versions of Benedito Ruy Barbosa, Marcos Palmeira revealed the desire to participate in another remake of the author, “The King of Cattle” aired in 1996.
“Benedito speaks of deep Brazil, shows the simplicity, true relationships, the humanization of the countryman. He is a poet, in a way. These are characters with which you cross inland. He can reach the hearts of people. I am a fan. If I could do more soap operas of his, he would do during his participation in Videocast Small, O Globo.
Still in the interview, the actor recalled that, shortly after “Pantanal”, he also made, in the headline, “Amazon”. In the plot authored by Jorge Duran, Palmeira gave life to Lucio who, knowing journalist Milla (Cristiana Oliveira), has visions of the past, when they both fell in love in the past, incarnated like Caio and Camile.
“It was an internal circuit novel. No one saw. I had an idea of past, present and future that didn’t happen. It was a very rich experience for me. It was a giant failure, with great actors. The cast was very good. It was my first protagonist. When you are successful, everyone shares that success. I thought, ‘Oops, I don’t have to fall into this trap. I’m there like everyone, doing the best possible. ”
Marcos said that even with the situation, he never bought the fight. “I think I’m talking for the first time. I’ve talked about success and failure, but not that they would have blamed me in a way for failure,” he added.
