The works to close the crater that opened at Marginal Tietê, in São Paulo, should be completed by the end of Monday (14). According to the São Paulo State Basic Sanitation Company (Sabesp), the action is in the asphalt recomposition phase.
Sabesp said the works had to be suspended during Sunday night (13) and at dawn on Monday (14), due to rain, which prevents the pavement. The company apologized for the inconvenience and stressed that the grounding phase of the site has already been completed.
A note had already been issued on Friday (11), with the forecast for today the submission of the works, which until then had not been suspended. Initially, the estimated time to close the hole was three days.
Check out Sabesp’s note:
“Sabesp informs that it has completed the grounding phase of the site and is now in the phase of asphalt recomposition. This work had to be suspended due to heavy rain on Sunday night (13) and dawn of this Monday (14), which prevents the pavement.
The crater appeared in one part under the responsibility of the AutoBan concessionaire, approximately 400 meters from the Atílio Fontana Bridge, at the entrance of the local track to the central.
The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) reported that drivers should follow the local and expressed tracks. The place was isolated since the event, last Thursday (10).
