Mariacarla Boscano will marry Claudio Stecchi: the social announcement

The top model Mariacarla Boscano and the pole vaulter Claudio Stecchi are about to become husband and wife. The future spouses themselves made the announcement of the wedding, via social media, after a trip to Los Angeles in which the her eleven-year-old daughter: Marialucas, had by her ex Andrea Patti. The first to announce the wedding via social media was the forty-three-year-old model, who on Instagram posted a series of photos – including a shot in which he kisses his thirty-one-year-old partner – writing: «In the midst of fashion weeks we swam in the sea, went hiking and we got engaged». Enthusiastic comments from many well-known names immediately arrived. Colleagues and friends who wanted to wish the couple a happy birthday, as the top model Bianca Balti and the singer Skin.

A couple of hours later Claudio Stecchi’s post arrived, one of the greatest Italian pole vault talents. The thirty-one year old, posting images of beautiful landscapes, couple photos and a shot where the partner shows the ring, he reiterated the concept: «We got engaged».

Mariacarla Boscano and Claudio Stecchi met about a year ago in Italy. And they always have lived their relationship away from the spotlight: the only public appearance dates back to last July, at a fashion event in Puglia. In a rare interview, however, she revealed that theirs was «love at first sight». Is that since their first meeting they have never “left each other again”.

Mariacarla – one of the three stars of Italian fashion in the world in recent years together with Eva Riccobono and Bianca Balti – follows Claudio whenever he can: for example it was with her daughter Marialucas at the world championships in Budapest to watch her final. For her part, in the very few moments free from training, he runs to her, who divides her time between New York, Milan, Paris, and wherever her work takes her: «It’s a gypsy love that will soon take root», the top model explained some time ago.
