O Rock in Rio 2024 gained new names on Monday night (18). Mariah Carey, Cyndi Lauper, Tyla and Alison Wonderland were confirmed at the festival.
Cyndi Lauper, Tyla and Alison Wonderland were confirmed on “Dia Delas”, on September 20th. Performing on this day is Ivete Sangalo, Gloria Gaynor, IZA, Angélique Kidjo and Katy Perry, who is the headliner.
Mariah Carey will be on the “Sunset” stage on September 22nd, the day Shawn Mendes is the headliner. Singer Ne-Yo will also perform on the last day of the festival.
Rock in Rio will take place on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd of September 2024. In this edition, the event turns 40 years old. The festival was founded by Roberto Medina in 1985.
In addition to the artists, the following are also confirmed as the festival's main attractions: Travis Scott , imagine Dragons , Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes It is Katy Perry . The 15th and 21st of September do not yet have a defined main artist.
