Mariah Carey dedicates video to Brazilian fans before show at Rock in Rio 2024

The singer Mariah Carey published this Tuesday (17) a video dedicated to Brazilian fans, showing several messages asking her to come to the country. The publication was made days before her shows scheduled in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, where the Rock in Rio 2024.

“I’m reading some comments from fans. ‘Come to Brazil,’” Mariah Carey began in Portuguese. Next, there are images of several comments in English from Brazilian fans asking for new performances.

At the end of the recording, she says: “Maybe I should go to Brazil”. In the caption of the publication, the artist declared: “See you soon, Brazil”.

Mariah Carey will perform a solo show at Allianz Parque, in São Paulo, on September 20. Two days later, the artist will take to the Sunset Stage, at the closing of Rock in Rio, on the same day that names such as Akon, Ne-Yo and Shawn Mendes will perform at the event.

The pop diva returned to her rehearsal routine earlier this month, after being confined following the deaths of her mother and sister.
