Marisa announces resignation of president amid restructuring process

Marisa Lojas informed this Wednesday (8) that the CEO Adalberto Pereira dos Santos resigned from the presidency of the company. On an interim basis, Alberto Kohn de Penhas, current Commercial and Executive Vice-President, will assume command at the company.

In a material fact sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the company also informs that the member of the board of directors, Marcelo Adriano Casarin, also resigned from his position.

The company says it has already started the selection process for the new president. Likewise, the collegiate is taking the necessary measures to appoint a new member to the board who will occupy the seat previously occupied by Casarin until the Annual and Extraordinary General Meeting is held in April 2023.

Restructuring

The company also informs that in continuity with the process of financial optimization and improvement of its capital structure, it hired BR Partners to advise it in the process of renegotiating its financial debt and Galeazzi Associados to support it in the improvement of the cost structure of the company.
