The US will stop trying to mediate a Russian-Ukraine peace deal within days unless there are clear evidence that an agreement can be reached, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said today. Speaking to Paris, Rubio after meeting with European and Ukrainian officials, said President Donald Trump is still interested in an agreement but has many other priorities around the world and is willing to go ahead with no evidence. “We have to determine the next few days if (peace) is possible or not” and “if it is not possible, we must move on to something else” because “the US has other priorities,” he told reporters.
