One week after the airing of the last episode of Marriage at first sightthe one that saw them decide to continue their relationship outside of the Real Time program premiered on Discovery+, Michele D’Addetta and Solange Salvo could not be more serene. «We are exactly where we would have liked to be at the beginning of the journey, even before we met», reveals the couple to Vanity Fair, ready to face for the first time an everyday life that doesn’t include cameras. The pressure, in their case, could have been a lot, since they were the only ones to survive this edition of Marriage at first sight after the historic expulsion of Lucas and Carolinaaccused of having signed up for the program for the sole purpose of gaining visibility, and after the breakup between Michela and Alex, but Michele and Solange say that’s not the case: «We are happy to have survived the experiment, but we don’t feel any pressure: we we could feel pressure in a situation that has come true exactly as we had dreamed of it», they tell us in the first real interview of their new life as a couple.

How was your life once the cameras went off?
«We had greeted the experts by declaring a “rather sketchy” project on our future together. But, talking to them about what happened during the previous six months, we realized, on that occasion, that we were much closer than we thought to the realization of that far from sketchy project, and we started navigating on sight towards our goal.”

Have you ever been afraid of being alone in dealing with your new everyday life?
«The only moment in which we felt afraid to be alone, almost as if we could no longer hold our parents’ little hand, was immediately after the first month of knowing each other. Once we got over that first stage, we were no longer afraid. At least in this context.”

You live toghether?
Michele: “Yes, we finally live together. The awareness for one of the two was not immediate in deciding that he wanted to give up everything for the other. Without haste and with our times, my wife took over the reins of the game and decided to resign from her old job to look for a new one in Turin, where we definitely settled after touring half of Italy in look for our place in the world”.

The end of Carolina and Lucas’ experiment surprised everyone a bit: what do you think of them?
«We prefer to talk about our experience and what we have gone through, leaving this “couple” the freedom to express themselves in the first instance on their own path».

What about Michela and Alex? What do you think they did wrong?
«What we think about Michela and Alex has already been expressed in front of the cameras during the episode And then…: we don’t intend to add anything else about their dynamics, but we would like to remind everyone that behind a public face there is always a human being with his own sensitivity, no matter how subjectively right or wrong he has acted”.

Are you still in touch with the other two couples?
“We have always been in contact with Alex, with whom we have established a magnificent relationship, and we are very pleased to hear from Carolina from time to time, with whom we are sure we could have established a good relationship if her journey had not been interrupted early”.

Francis and Martina, protagonists of Marriage at first sight from 3 years agohave decided to remarry: are you planning to do it too?
«It seems too early to talk about a future new marriage! We have followed with admiration the journey of Francesco and Martina, with whom we have already had the opportunity to confront each other and for whom we were very happy to learn the “good news”, and the journey of Jessica and Sergio, who we have not yet had the pleasure of knowing. We found them to be very interesting paths and, in both, we found dynamics similar to ours».

I understand it’s early, but have you by any chance talked about expanding the family tomorrow?
«If it seems early to talk about a new marriage, let alone the idea of ​​expanding the family. Time to time”.

During your journey there have been, as it should be, some misunderstandings: today on what do you feel you still have to work as a couple?
«It’s true, we had many misunderstandings, all common to every young new couple. We find those same misunderstandings in our daily lives, but we have simply learned to manage them in the best way, as we think that every couple must do in order to at least arrive unscathed at the golden wedding anniversary».

Let’s play a bit: who cooks at home? Who does the chores?
“If we weren’t together right now, we believe that everyone would respond to everything ‘I'”.

Is there a habit that you tolerate little of the other?
Solange: «He arranges the clothes obsessively in chromatic order».
Michele: “She rolls up the clothes and throws them in the closet.”
Solange: “It annoys me that he is the woman of the house.”
