Married at First Sight 12: here's what the couples decided at the finale (and there's a surprise)

Love, like the viewers of Marriage at first sight they know well, it didn't happen for any of the four protagonist couples of this edition but, despite this, the experts can however say they are satisfied, at least now that the cameras are still turned on them. The real test will be, in fact, the episode ofAnd thenthat is, the one in which, after some time and without the authors, cameramen and microphone operators in tow, we will find out if the couples who have chosen to leave Wedding at first seen together are they still side by side or not. The episode of the final confrontation, in this sense, it is marked by both some certainties and some surprises that we didn't expect, although only time will tell us if we were right or wrong.

Benedetta Campigli and Enrico Boneschi

They were the most problematic couple not only of this edition but of everything Marriage at first sight, having been the only ones to choose not to live together in the history of the experiment. Could they maybe go out together? If we wanted to play an April Fool's joke on you, we would say yes, but you would immediately take us for liars. For Benedetta and Enrico there is, however, no future, but only a lot of bitterness. The clash, in fact, is fiery, considering that both try to shift the blame onto the other. For Enrico, Benedetta was not ready to get involved fully, while for her Enrico was too little genuine for her. At this point it is the expert who enters the conversation straight away Andrea Favaretto, who points out to her that Enrico actually tried to come to her several times, but she never noticed. What should she have done? “I would have liked him to come meet me, do something together.” But would she have accepted? Maybe not, Benedetta sketches. So what are we talking about? It goes without saying that when Nada Loffredi suggests that she accept cohabitation now that all things have been said, she replies no: Benedetta and Enrico's problem was that they considered the experiment a failure without giving each other time to get to know each other, and this is the real disappointment. We have to throw a spear at this couple because it is clear that, unlike the others, they gave it their all to go beyond appearance and try to get involved. The one to whom we would dedicate a statue is undoubtedly Ilaria who, although admitting that she was not immediately attracted to Giuseppedecided to give him a chance and get to know him. Of course, she would have liked him to take the initiative, but instead she did. Giuseppe, emotional as he is, cannot hold back his tears at the moment of recognizing that he has grown up and that he has discovered a woman at his side who has awakened something in him that he thought was lost: from here, although it is decidedly premature to talk about 'Love, the two choose to go out together from Marriage at first sight to continue to get to know each other and have another chance. And we couldn't be happier for them.

If there's a couple that let us down in this one Marriage at first sight it's them. Okay, they never got to the point of having emotions for each other, but more effort would have been appreciated. Roberta says that living together was the most difficult period of the entire experiment even if at a certain point she admits, as does Roberto, that she considers herself lucky for having tried to listen to him. «We appreciate each other, but when willpower needs to be supported we realized that that transport didn't come to the surface», they got to say, even if we don't believe it. Roberto, at least at the beginning, was visibly attracted to Roberta, and our suspicion is that he cleverly withdrew so as not to appear like the man in love who ends up being friendzoned. The fact that they say they respect each other and recognize each other as friends seems like a very clean way of not admitting that they didn't care and didn't make that much effort to make things change. Could they leave the experiment together? Of course not.

Fabio Rossi and Ilaria Zanoli

It is the most curious couple of this edition and also the one that surprised us the most. On the one hand there is Ilaria, who she threw herself headlong into getting to know Fabio because he immediately felt a strong physical and mental attraction towards him, and on the other hand there is Fabio, who tried to soften and let go while admitting in front of the cameras that don't be attracted to Ilaria. The problem is that she chose not to mention this either to herself or to the experts, effectively sinning of insincerity. Insisting on the fact that Ilaria had to learn to respect her time, given that Fabio chose to go on stand-by on more than one occasion, is nonsense, because it is clear that Fabio's lack of physical attraction is not taken into account which, incredibly, is not addressed or brought out in any way. For the experts, Ilaria and Fabio have done bingo, for us however they don't have the right foundations and honesty to continue, but the fact is that the two, at least for the moment, they decide to continue being together. The important thing is that they are calm.
