Marvel announces cast of “Fantastic Four”; check out

A Marvel announced this Wednesday (14) the actors who will play the Fantastic Four at the movies.

• Pedro Pascal will play Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic;
• Vanessa Kirby will be Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman;
• Joseph Quinn will be Johnny Storm, the Human Torch; It is
• Ebon Moss-Bachrach will bring Ben Grimm, the Thing, to life.

“Happy Valentine's Day from Marvel's first family! Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn are the Fantastic Four”, announced the brand on social media.

The announcement also came with the film's release date: July 25, 2025.

The feature film will be directed by Matt Shakman (“WandaVision”, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters”). The script is by Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.

Until now, the Fantastic Four have not been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film rights belonged to 20th Century Fox, which produced three films featuring the characters.

The Fantastic Four were the first characters created for Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

In the comics, the Fantastic Four are four astronauts who transform into superheroes after being exposed to cosmic rays in space.

Reed gains the ability to stretch his body to surprising lengths.

Sue, who is Reed's girlfriend, can manipulate light to become invisible and cast powerful force fields.

Johnny, Sue's brother, can turn his body into fire, which gives him the ability to fly.

And Ben, Reed's best friend, is completely transformed into a Thing, with giant rocks in his body that give him super strength.
